Oil Painting Still Life

Students will render a carefully arranged still life using in oil paint, focusing on accurately capturing form and proportion. They will blend grayscale tints and shades to model depth, create smooth value transitions, and bring dimension to their work. Emphasis will be placed on observing light and shadow to convincingly transform flat shapes into three-dimensional forms.
