Megan

Megan Becker | Director of Member Services

Megan, a New Jersey based artist, graduated from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, receiving her BFA in illustration. Megan takes inspiration from nature and can often be found on local trails with her traveling watercolor set. She works in a variety of mediums - particularly oils, watercolors, and graphite. Megan’s work has been featured in galleries and small businesses throughout New Jersey, often displayed in hand-restored, vintage frames. Megan enjoys working in the company of her animals and loves getting lost in the details.

Anna Hoxha | Director of Education

Anna Hoxha graduated from William Paterson University with a MA in Teaching and a BA in Art. As a freelance mixed media artist, she enjoys hands-on art investigation and tinkering with different materials. Her enthusiastic teaching approach fosters her students’ exploration of artistic expression, creative thinking, and technical confidence. Anna loves teaching at One River because it allows students to elevate their art in a judgment-free creative learning environment.

Matt Gysin | Assistant Director of Education

Graduate of William Paterson University with a B.A. in media & film production. Matt is very passionate about the art of storytelling through film, digital animation, and theatre. His career in the arts began at various theater companies and now brings his love of digital art to One River School.

Hannah Weissman | Assistant Director of Member Services

Graduate of Keene State College with a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art. Her passion lies with abstract landscape painting and figure drawing.  Her free form creative process encourages students to discover who they are as artists while enjoying the process of creating.

Sarah Lorito | Instructor

Sarah Lorito is a New York-based artist with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Working primarily in painting and sculpture, she explores themes of societal structures, autonomy, and the human condition. Drawing inspiration from film and contemporary theater, her work challenges norms with a blend of satire and psychological depth. Sarah has studied under renowned artists and shares glimpses of her creative process through social media, inviting viewers to engage with her thought-provoking narratives.

Joe Marionni | Instructor

Joe graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a degree in visual studies with minors in visual development and creative writing. He prefers to create digital art or just use pencils and pens and takes a lot of inspiration from anime, manga, and comics. In Joe's freetime he likes to draw, play video games, and hang out with my friends.

Maria Rashidah Manongdo | Instructor

Maria is an illustrator with a focus on character design and storytelling. Having earned a BFA in Animation and Illustration from Montclair State University, Maria has worked across various projects as a freelancer. She loves exploring different art mediums, but prefers to work digitally. She is driven by a passion for creating characters and stories that resonate with others. In the classroom, Maria hopes to encourage students from all backgrounds to explore their own creative ideas, helping them develop their character-building and storytelling skills. She believes that everyone has a story to tell, and hopes to allow young artists a safe space to do so.
Outside of teaching, Maria enjoys playing video games, listening to music, doodling on post-it notes.

Angela Camenisch | Instructor

Angela graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in art education. She works with a variety of media but her favorite is acrylic painting. She creates colorful figurative works that critique issues dealing with body image, beauty standards, and other issues prevalent to her life with a surrealist twist. Her goal when teaching is to share her passion for making to her students and inspire them to create pieces that they care about.

Liz Arturi | Instructor

Liz Arturi is a graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art and Minor in Art History. She grew up doing art, and as a former One River student, is so happy to be back to share her experience and knowledge in art! Teaching has become a natural extension of her passion, allowing her to inspire young artists to explore their own creativity and growth.

Diane Parker | Instructor

Diane graduated from SUNY at Oneonta with a BA in Communications and Television Production with a concentration in Fine Arts. She spent 12 years working for CNN in New York City as a stage manager and camera operator. Afterwards, she founded her own children’s/parent, creative and educational program in Florida to help enrich the social, creative and educational development for her own daughter as well as many others. She brings that same personal mission to her classes at One River. Her passion is bringing out the creative spirit in each and every student so they reach their highest potential in a judgement free atmosphere. She enjoys mixing unexpected materials into her art while still keeping her first love of pencil and ink close at heart. Diane can always be found working on a DIY project or some wild, new ideas with her incredibly artistic 11 year old daughter (who also enrolls in One River courses).

Pattie Jane Allen | Instructor

Pattie Jane is currently pursuing her degree in Art History with a minor in Jazz Studies at Purchase College. As a mixed media artist, she integrates various forms of creativity and expression into her practice, often incorporating her passion for music through guitar and singing. Pattie Jane’s teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering students’ creative voices while developing technical skills and confidence. She values the supportive and inclusive environment at One River School of Art & Design, where students are encouraged to experiment, grow, and refine their artistic abilities.

Adrianna Kearney | Instructor

Adrianna Kearney is a painting and drawing teacher at One River in Allendale, New Jersey. A Rutgers Alumni, Adrianna received her BFA degree with a double concentration in Painting and Drawing, and a Minor in Creative Writing in May of 2024. When she is not teaching, Adrianna works as a fine artist, specializing in painting and illustration. Her practice includes large scale oil paintings, watercolor illustrations, experimental animation and writing that is inspired by her personal relationships, spiritual experiences, and music. Adrianna enjoys teaching and loves helping her students to create new work! 

Tori

Tori Mather| Instructor

Tori is an NJ and NYC-based artist who graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Comics. Her work revolves heavily around detailed storytelling, complex characters, and sci-fi settings. Visually, her comics feature striking color palettes and stylized characters, and her favorite part of the process is creating dynamic and interesting poses. She specializes in digital art, but also loves using watercolor and ink for traditional work.

Danielle Glickman | Instructor

Danielle Glickman is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who brings warmth, creativity, and a playful sense of exploration to every class she teaches. She earned her BFA from the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in Denver, where she developed a deep love for mixed media, watercolor, and hand-built ceramics. With a background that spans early childhood education, K–12 art instruction, and community-based creative programming, Danielle believes in meeting each student where they are and empowering them to experiment, take risks, and discover their artistic voice. Her teaching style blends structure with freedom, encouraging students to embrace texture, color, and narrative in their work. Danielle’s own artistic practice reflects her eclectic style—vibrant, expressive, and rooted in curiosity. When she’s not teaching, you can find her sketching outdoors, hunting for inspiration in local galleries, or spending time with her very expressive rescue dog, Floyd.
